In Phase 1 we put forward outline proposals for improvements to cycle- and pedestrian facilities along A4 Western Avenue, between the junction with Brummell Road and Waitrose roundabout.  We have listened to feedback and revised the plans.  Please see the plan below for details of the scheme that we are intending to take forwards.

<h2>What do you think about the revised plans for Western Avenue?</h2><p>In Phase 1 we asked for views on outline proposals for new cycle lanes and footway improvements along A4 Western Avenue, between Brummell Road and Waitrose Roundabout, in between Speen and Newbury.</p><p>We have listened to feedback received and have revised the plans. We have revised the plans, to focus the cycle track upgrade on the north side of the road, improving connections for &nbsp;the main part of Speen estate and Robert Sandilands school with the northern end of the town.
